ABOUT THE OWNERS

Steve and Marla Talbert are the owners and operators of the day-to-day operations of the automotive services at Talbert's Automotive & Tire. While Marla maintains the office and helps with customer service, Steve oversees the maintenance and repair of all projects underway at the shop.

In 1970, Steve's father opened Talbert's Automotive & Tire. As a student in school, Steve began working part time with his father during the evenings and weekends. The more he worked, and the more experience he gained at the company, Steve knew that he wanted to continue the family business and expand it in the future.

Steve continued working in the shop while receiving his education, and graduated in 1990. He enrolled in automotive classes at Alamance Community College to help make his dream of running the family business possible.
After many years of dedication and a background of success in the automotive business, Steve started managing the business for his father and did so for over 15 years. He has now earned the respect and commitment of his customers from his day-to-day operations and his concept of going the extra mile to make each customer satisfied.
We are ASE Certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
